I want to touch on an idea about repeating the same life processes and expecting to achieve something different in your life ~ this IS the definition of insanity!
So here is the model: Same thoughts = same choices = same actions & behaviors = same experiences = same feelings = same old state of being!
Therefore if you want to CHANGE you have to change something about your daily routine, and it starts with your THOUGHTS! Which by the way is the only real thing that you have control over in your life ... isn't that handy!
So ... New thoughts would = new choices = new actions & behaviors = new experiences = new feelings = A NEW state of being!
The issue is, is we normally run around our day on 'autopilot'. So in order to 'change' anything, we must become aware of the destructive things we are currently doing. The old adage of "I can't fix it if I don't know what's broken" holds very true to your own thinking! You must learn to become aware of your thoughts.
One of the things you can start 'catching' are the thoughts: "always", "never", "must" or "had to", as they normally are NOT whole truths. Just changing these thoughts will have an impact on your life, and give you a good starting point on changing your overall thinking.
You HAVE the ability to change and control your thinking, you just need to spend the time LEARNING how to do it!
