Hello Sports Fans!
Today’s QUICK TIP … Have you ever wanted to change something in a routine only to find it very difficult or even impossible? First, it’s important to understand that we spend between 90-95% of our day on auto-pilot mindlessly running along old and previously programmed ‘routines’. This is one of the reasons it is so difficult to make changes. So a way to make change easier is to SHATTER the old routine so you actually have to ‘think’ for a day or two before you log out and go back to auto-pilot. What I mean is ~ shake things up in ‘your world’, and the more the better. Do things like: 1. rearrange the bedroom or living room 2. fold some hanging clothes and hang some folded clothes while putting socks where the underwear was and vice versa. 3. put the plates where the glasses were and the glasses where the plates were and MOVE YOUR COFFEE CUP! 4. brush your teeth with your opposite hand 5. put on some clothes you haven’t worn in a while … listen to old music … call an old friend … 6. SHATTER YOUR ROUTINE! In doing so, you will make it 100x easier to ADD whatever you were wanting to add to your NEW routine and in a few days or weeks, the new routine will simply be part of your ‘updated’ automatic programming! Illegitimi non Carborundum!
