Hello again Sports Fans!
Today we are going to look at who you might want to consider 'trimming' out of your social life. I'll let you decide based on some information I provide for you to think about ... Your REAL friends want to see you doing well and getting better in life. If you have people telling you that you can't do something or that you are going to fail at something or bringing you down when you talk about bettering your life ... you might have some dead weight. Strong people (meaning emotionally and successfully) NEVER tear other people down! Strong people are ALWAYS trying to help lift other people up and make them successful in life or business or relationships or whatever as well ... so if you have people kicking you while you are down ... you might have some dead weight. A HEALTHY relationship involves open communication and unconditional support of the other person WITHOUT hooks, or consequences, or demands, or if/then options, or whatever else ... so if you have relationships that are build on 'as long as' or 'if you, then I' concepts ... you might have some dead weight. The use of guilt, shame, fear, or otherwise when talking to someone else is manipulation and control ... pretty much period ... so if you have people who are always trying to guilt trip you or make you feel bad in some way ... you might have some dead weight. There are obviously other signs and clues as to who is dead weight and who is not but these are some very obvious ones that can get you started.
